Versiv, a leading provider of cross compression services to the natural gas industry, is proud to announce a significant milestone of surpassing 1,000 emission reduction events.

“We’re incredibly excited to celebrate this achievement, which speaks volumes to how our industry is embracing sustainable solutions,” said Gina Rundo, Versiv Director of Operations. “Each emission reduction event is a time when traditionally methane would have needed to be released to atmosphere, and instead, our customers are choosing to proactively mitigate emissions on their pipeline construction projects to protect the environment and the communities where they work.”

Notably, the event was a project executed in collaboration with T.D. Williamson (TDW), a global leader in pipeline services and established partner with Versiv. Nearly two years ago, Versiv’s parent company, Artera Services, and TDW announced a strategic agreement to offer shared services from both companies to their respective customers. TDW provides a wide range of pipeline system solutions, including hot tapping and line isolation, pipeline pigging and integrity services. The partnership pairs complementary services from the two companies, allowing operators to achieve a near emission-less operation during line shut offs. Learn more about their partnership here.

Versiv, a leading provider of cross compression services to the natural gas industry, is proud to announce a significant milestone of surpassing 1,000 emission reduction events.

The successful partnership has exceeded expectations. Operators across the industry have embraced these innovative solutions to implement the compression of natural gas, driving meaningful progress towards their environmental objectives.

“We are thrilled to celebrate this significant milestone with our valued partner, TDW,” said Gina Rundo, Versiv Director of Operations. “Together, we have demonstrated our commitment to environmental stewardship and innovation, driving meaningful progress towards a more sustainable future for the natural gas industry.”

Surpassing the 1,000 emission reduction events milestone serves as a testament to the efficacy of collaboration and innovation in addressing today’s most pressing challenges.

Leveraging Artera’s national scale and deep customer relationships, Versiv is also seeing tremendous adoption to embrace a sustainable culture.  Moreover, leveraging the two companies with a large national footprint allows our organizations to enhance operational efficiencies to effectively react and respond to last minute schedule changes while reducing our own emissions.

Versiv’s efforts are making a tangible difference in reducing carbon footprint for their customers directly impacting Scope 1 and Scope 3 emissions. Moreover, the reduction in emergency calls and dispatches that would typically accompany a gas release further demonstrates the positive impact of these initiatives on operational efficiency, safety, and social responsibility.

We held a celebration recently at the 2024 SGA Spring Gas conference, where we proudly displayed silver 1,000 number balloons, themed stickers, and hosted an exciting giveaway to commemorate the occasion. It was great to celebrate with the many industry partners that allowed us to achieve such a milestone. Every current and future emission reduction partner made this possible. Amidst the festivities, attendees joyfully held fun props, symbolizing the collaborative effort between Versiv, industry partners, and each customer and contractor. To relive the highlights of this momentous occasion, we invite you to watch the video posted on our social media channels.

“We’re incredibly excited to celebrate this achievement, which speaks volumes to how our industry is embracing sustainable solutions,” said Gina Rundo, Versiv Director of Operations.

As Versiv looks ahead, it remains dedicated to continuing its collaborative efforts with TDW and other industry partners to pioneer cutting-edge cross compression solutions that address the evolving needs of customers while prioritizing environmental sustainability.
